Dee Ann Holisky |
Senior Associate Dean,
College of Arts and Sciences
A faculty member at George Mason since 1980, Dr. Holisky
is an Associate Professor of Linguistics and a past director
of Linguistics Programs. Her research specialty is languages
of the Caucasus, and she has published on Georgian, Tsova-Tush,
English grammar for ESL teachers, and vocabulary for ESL students.
She earned her Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of
Chicago. |

Mason University-TV, is responsible for coordinating faculty
and student support and training in technology. Along with
Dee Holisky, Anne provides leadership for the University’s
TAC initiative. Before coming to George Mason in 1998, Anne
worked at Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland, first
in the humanities division and later as the coordinator of
instructional technology. She was also the Head of Client
Services at St. Mary’s College of Maryland. Anne holds
a doctorate in rhetoric from the Catholic University of America,
and she taught writing and American literature for more than
twenty years. She is a fellow of the Frye Institute for Leadership
in Information Technology. |
