Targeted Initiatives

To encourage faculty members less experienced with technology to incorporate technology assignments into their courses, TAC sponsors special initiatives that target particular IT skills. These workshops are generally co-sponsored by the Instructional Resource Center as part of the overarching collaboration between TAC and the Division of Instructional & Technology Support Services. Current workshops include:

• a general image manipulation workshop for College of Arts and Sciences faculty across the curriculum.
• a workshop on the use of EndNote, a bibliographic software tool to assist students with research as well as integrate concepts about databases and manipulating and reformatting information.
